This digital collage parodies the excessive use of smartphones with the characteristics of zombies. The photographs echo the disconnection between people all around the world in today’s digital age. During the collaborative process, artists are asked to capture evidence of the lack of social interaction in public spaces on their smartphones to emphasizes this prevalent contemporary sociological issue. By recognizing this as one of the major causes of disconnection, this project aims to evoke awareness to revive deep human connections.
